Bar Nacarat is set within the glitzy Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, combining a seriously chic cocktail lounge and a palm-lined roof terrace overlooking downton Montreal. The drinks offering is experimental in presentation and technique – think hand-carved ice and spherified garnishes. The cocktails are crowd-pleasing takes on spritzes and sangrias, along with a frozen offering named Bourbon & Coconut, which blends bourbon, coconut, pineapple, banana and lime. A small but mighty zero-alc menu is also available, with a mysterious tea-based Red Carpet Adonis mocktail and a Fin Soda with fresh pear and ginger. There's also food fresh from the barbecue and regular DJ sets – sounds like a party to us.
